Leukapheresis is performed using the Spectra Optia Apheresis System. Mononucleated cell-rich blood is continuously collected using ACD-A as an anticoagulant. This product provides no less than 10 billion total nucleated cells (TNC). TNC in our leukapheresis products are composed of, on average, 50% T cells, 20% monocytes, 10% B cells, 7% NK cells, and 3% granulocytes. Actual product volume, TNC concentration, and cell type percentages vary from collection to collection.
HLA and CMV status are available upon request. All donors undergo an in-person screening including bloodborne pathogens testing, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, and HIV 1 and 2.
AllCells boasts the largest donor database in the industry. Our pool of healthy, diverse and recallable donors provides researchers with the right cells at the right time.
